NRNA Canada thanks all Nepali community members and all the participants for your immense participation in the third annual, “5K Walk” organized by NRNA Canada, Ontario regional committee in collaboration with Laliguras sports club on 3 June 2017 on Saturday morning in Brampton city. It was really exciting and fruitful for the whole community. The main agenda of this “5 K Walk “was to build Nepalese Community Center.
Sincere thanks to Mr. Rohit Mehata and Mr. Sarabjit Lachhar for attending in the 5K Walk and representing MP Sonia Sidhu in the program. Congratulation to winners of 5K Run Mr. Bharat Chhetri, Mr. Madhab Gajurel and Ms. Ekata Kandel for securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Special thanks to the media support from Mr. Hari Siwakoti and Mr. Gokarna Lamichhane (Canadakhabar.com). We are grateful with Nepalese Canadian Truckers association for sponsoring breakfast and joint sponsoring of good morning coffee by Laliguras Sports Club president Mr. Uttam KC and Real estate business proprietor Mr. Sunanda Subedi.
In the mean time I would like to take opportunity to thank the website donors Mr. Khej Raj Khanal and Mr. Sunanda Subedi as well.
One more exciting and important achievement of program was that CD $21000.00 was pledged by community activists for Nepali Community House.
This pledged amount would be paid within 5 years time frame. Nepalese Community Center Steering Committee will announce the next fund-raise gala to pledge the donations by all community members very soon and all community members are requested to pledge $1000 or more per family who will be members of Community Center. The community members who want to donate less than $1000 will be regarded as donors and it can be done via website.
Thanks to all who pledged for the community Center and let’s join our hands for the good and ambitious cause of Nepalese community.
We always look forward to receiving continuous support, constructive suggestions, and creative feedback in the days ahead for the unity and betterment of Nepali community.
Thanks all for hands in hands and co-operation with our persuasion for the “United and Strong Nepali Community” in Canada.
With best regards,
